Recreational cheerleading is a fantastic way to learn the foundations in a more relaxed and social environment. This is a perfect way for athletes that are new to cheerleading to develop the basics and then transition to a competitive team the following year.
Our recreational teams train less than our competition teams - usually only once a week for between 1 and 1.5 hours, making it easier to fit into the family schedule. The recreational teams don't have the stress of competing, although they do perform at our end of year showcase to demonstrate the skills they developed during the year. All recreational athletes will receive a club t-shirt to wear during training and for the showcase.
Recreational cheerleading provides a fantastic opportunity for athletes to build self-confidence, learn team work, develop meaningful friendships, learn new skills and most importantly, have fun participating in a unique way.
