What is competitive All Star cheerleading?
All Star cheerleading is a sport that allows both male and females to perform a two minute and thirty second routine comprising of stunts, tumbling, jumps, pyramid and a dance break. The routine is scored against other competitive teams at regional, national and international competitions.
Competitive teams train all year round for these competitions and each team member is a vital part of the team. Everyone has their own special position and job to do throughout the routine. Teams can be large or small ranging from 5 to 38 athletes and are typically either coed or all girl.
At Cheer Factor, our competitive teams train for a minimum of 4 hours per week. Attendance and commitment is extremely important to develop a strong competitive squad. There are options to train in two squads over two age groups if desired. Our teams compete up to four times over the competition season which is July to November. All squads will perform at the end of year showcase performance.
